If you have excellent sales skills and are looking for a varied position, then the position of National Account Manager might be something for you!

In the role of National Account Manager you will be responsible for the management of our national/major accounts. Through an in-depth understanding of customers’ needs and requirements, the National Account Manager will recommend relevant products and services. This role will drive profitable revenue growth through expertise, professionalism and being customer focused and by promoting the sales of new and existing products and services.

You are part of the commercial team in the Central Region and you work closely with the other Account Managers in Region, in Mississauga, ON. Together you work every day to exceed customer expectations and grow the business. You increase the brand awareness of TIP and the extensive package of products and services that we can offer our clients.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Major Account Management/portfolio responsibility
  • Manage cross selling efforts Nationally – working closely with the Commercial leaders and the leadership team
  • Perform Quarterly/Annual Reviews on Major Accounts
  • Participate in the Major account Penetration Strategy
  • RFQ/RFQ Management
  • Participate in the major accounts rate strategy to increase revenue
  • Ensure customer needs and commitments are met continuously
  • Communicate product knowledge to all customers to ensure customers are aware of all value-add features
  • Prepare quotes using Salesforce scheduling and follow-up on quotes on a timely basis
  • Document and ensure all sales activities are entered into the CRM system by the support team as required
  • Achieve national sales targets, goals and objectives
  • Work with the local branch team(s), including Inside Sales, to manage and develop accounts to grow revenue
  • Act as a resource for the sales team to retain, develop and grow national accounts


YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • Significant experience in managing National accounts with proven record of success
  • Ability of doing business with C-Level, Presentation Skills / Communication skills
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Sales in the Transportation Industry/trailer industry at the key account level
  • Strong organizational and computer skills - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce
  • Goal oriented and results driven
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task and reacts well under pressure
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and achieve outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment
